Trust & safety

Who we are, and how to check anything we issue.

Warranties are only worth what you can prove. This page sets out our company details, how to reach a human, and how to verify a warranty or an issuing business before money changes hands.

Verification

What our badges actually mean.

Every issuer has a Warrantik ID

Each business that registers gets a unique ID in the form WTK-XXXXXX. It appears on their warranty certificates and badges, and anyone can look it up.

Warranties verify by QR or code

Each warranty carries a unique code and scannable QR that resolves to a live verification page showing issuer, product and coverage status.

Status is server-side

Active, expiring, expired or void is read from the issuer's live record — not from a screenshot, PDF or email that could be edited.

Least-privilege data access

Database access is governed by row-level security policies, so customers see their own warranties and businesses see only what they issued.

Terms recorded at issue

What's covered, what's excluded and what a claim requires are stored with the warranty, so the terms can't be quietly reinterpreted later.

Auditable claim history

Claims keep their evidence, messages, next steps and outcomes on the record for both the customer and the issuing business.

What Warrantik does — and doesn't — do

Warrantik is the record, verification and claims layer for warranties. The business that sold you the product decides the cover and provides it; we make their terms, dates, decisions and identity verifiable for both sides. Warrantik is not an insurer and does not underwrite warranties or money-back guarantees.

If an issuer disputes a claim, the full thread — evidence, messages, next steps and the recorded decision — stays available to the customer and the business, so the conversation is grounded in what was actually agreed at the point of sale.
